Isle of Thanet

Comprising Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate, the Isle of Thanet is highly rewarding place to photograph-this is JMW Turner's back yard and it was he who said that the 'skies over Thanet are the loveliest in all of Europe' and if it's good enough for Turner, it's certainly good enough for me! Indeed, I have enjoyed some of the most incredible conditions here as, perched on their north east of Kent, it experiences the full force of the weather rolling in from the English Channel.
