Finding viewpoints on such a well photographed island isn't easy but location searching paid off and my sun compass told me that the sun would rise over the cliffs in the distance. One thing that can be relied upon in the Aegean in summer is the sun, so I set myself up in advance, set my filters, worked out my composition and took my sequence of images.
