Field Notes
The Lake District is good anytime of year and in Spring I found this view of Lake Buttermere complimented with fresh, green tree growth reflected in the still, calm waters irresistable. I used a long telephoto lens to zoom in acorss the lake and take the viewer to a place and perspective not quite as the eye sees it fromm the distamt shoreline. The composition is designed to balance the symmetrical nature of the scene and nnot tip the balance one way or the other.
