Field Notes
So often, the arrangement of the elements are both a happy acccident and a delightful product of human design. I don't know if the tree was planted by man, but the dry stone wall laid around it is. And the setting is as much natural as it is a product of the human impact on the landscape, and feels like a very harmonious balance. For this scene, the dramatic clouds and sky above produced some stunning lighting and I liked how the view took in a wider scene. As the field was empty the panoramic format was ideal for placing all my preferred elements together into one final image.
