Margate has benefited from major investment in recent years and the newly refurbished Visitor Centre adjacent to the striking outline of the Turner Contemporary is complimented now by a sweeping arc of steps that lead from the town into the sea. A stiff breeze was blowing some puffy clouds in from the north east so I used a 10 stop ND filter to give a sense of movement in the sky and water to create a soft effect in contrast to the sharp outline of the architecture.
