Field Notes
A long exposure of 60 seconds allowed the shifting clouds above this ruined and abandoned house, Isle of Harris, to emphasise the idea of relentless time pasing and the effect of the elements on man made structures. Left by people seeking work elsewhere away from land with little value, first they are occupied by squatters but after time they end up in such poor condition that evetually all that is left is some signs of life-peeling paint and wall paper, abandoned chairs and a somewhat sad feeling for the lives lived here, now long gone as the old house fades into dust under the tireless sky above.
