Field Notes
I just loved the light on this stunning evening at Whitstable; a gap in the clouds provided a narrow window for the setting sun to send rays of light in and add tinges of colour to the clouds overhead. When it’s this exciting I have try and keep cool and still work through a series of shots whilst enjoying the light show. My composition is an odd one; lots of foreground, lots of sky and a bit in the middle. Normally it would be a failure but the colours in these large areas capture the beautiful light show well whilst the middle section is relegated in importance behind this lovely sea and skyscape.
