Isle of Eigg, Scotland
In this video from the Isle of Eigg, Scotland, I will show you how I make my decisions on where to go and what to shoot. We'll see how I decide where to go and set up the camera to take advantage of the light at the location and what my thoughts are on using filters in this situation.
In the footage, I've placed a neutral density grad over the sky (crudely, as you will see from the obvious transition zone to where it goes clear!). This is to show you some of the tones in the clouds which would otherwise be lost in the video recording together with how they were looking on my arival because this affects how I start to think creatively in order to respond to the scene with a photo.
